Removed one of the selling points
Took away the remote start feature. Something many of us bought this product for. Horrible customer service and way to treat the customers. If I was buying today I would get a Camp Chef Woodwind.

Love the smoker. I am enjoying learning how to maximize on different meats. I rely on the app connectivity BUT every time yall push an (unnecessary) update my Req disconnects from my home internet. And it does NOT easily reconnect. I have deleted and downloaded and rest all settings with some luck. But oh wait…..here comes another update. Ugh. Any suggestions.

Remote start removed from app features, which was one of the best parts about the app. This is only to idiot proof the smoker and distance them from liability. Lame. Get yourselves some jumper clips & a CNC Smart Switch and then you’re back in business.

Fail to connect on a 2.4ghz wifi network. This experience has been one let down after another. Avoid this product.

Is it just me or is this app really hard to use. I was trying to use it to monitor and control my grill but it always says it’s off even when it’s on. It’s a new grill and I think maybe I put in my wifi password wrong but I can’t even find where to update it. Even if I put it n right, how would I ever update it if I had to? Ps: I do love the grill, just not the app.
