Early adopter and not much better since
Again I’m fighting the difficulty of setting up. I wish it would be easier to set up WiFi. Also,One revision demolished my customized coffees because it didn’t consider the two grinder models. That is fixed. Thank you.

If Jura fails to enhance its app, Smart coffee machines with good app control will take over market. This app is very basic and mostly provide functions that offer no value. The app should be able to connect via internet and there should not any need to remain on same network/ subnet . App should allow customizing any number of drinks for each login and offer one click making of drink from app. All machine cockpit settings should be configurable from this app Machine should be able to turn on and off, run cleaning functions , set , customize drinks stored in the machine. All should allow to view all data related to health of the machine and provide any other real-time data when coffee machine is in use - the data can help understand how machine is being used by the user . Machine firmware should be updatable with mobile app so that any bugs can be fixed or enhancements done in machine . I have Giga 10 , and drinks sizes are very small . I cannot change drink sizes other than have been defined by factory in form of xl, xxl etc . If above possibilities existed then my giga 10 could have been more useful . Jura machine auto shut off has limit of 9 hours , how about if I want jura machine to remain on for 12 -14 hours . When machine is turned off , I can not turn on from app , my app cannot even connect to a off machine . Giga 10 disconnects from network next time turned on and I have to add WiFi to machine and then reconnect app with machine . This makes this app pretty useless

The app is not very intuitive, i’ve limited value to a person in the US, and hasn’t been updated to work with the Giga 10. I was disappointed that my predefined coffees were not made as specified. I hope Jura improves this app as it would be wonderful if it lived up to it’s potential.

This app is one of the most unreliable apps I’ve used done owning my iPhone. One time I am able to use it, and then the next time it doesn’t connect. It says it can’t find my SS ID however it shows it’s connected to my network and Bluetooth is on along with location is enabled but it still can’t connect. There’s no way of removing it and reinstalling the current coffee machine. I have spent more time with this silly app and sending the coffee machine back to Jura so they can try to fix the issue. coffee machine always comes back in the same state. It was when I sent it no fix. It’s a very disappointing app. It would be nice if they got their act together.

Jura “updated” the Home Screen with an advertisement to try new recipes. But the advertisement overwrites my selection screen so I can’t pick my coffees from the app anymore. Each update by Jura keeps pushing the envelope of how bad software can be.
