Bought my first espresso machine in the Delonghi Dinamica plus after watching and reading reviews. Honestly, I couldn't be more happy with my choice of machines and the app well that just seals the deal. I wake it up when I wake up, and its ready to pour me a perfected shot. Seriously for a home machine the coffee is delicious. The amount of adjustments that can be made with ease on the app to my pours, the profiles, the drink selections (most I will never use) but everything about this just says bye to the $125 a month spent on iced americanos, happily It will pay for itself in a year. I have an eletta explore which is their top model for super automatics. This app while easy to connect needs a lot of revamping. There should first utmost be an automatic on/off feature to turn on the machine in the morning and off at a certain time. Second, the measurements of the output of the coffee should be listed in ounces so we can use the right cup for whatever we are making in small, medium, large, etc. Third, the app should allow you to fine tune a drink to your preference. An example would be my wife likes slightly less milk in a latte. Theres no option to “make my own” drink.

I really care about good coffee and had trouble connecting my espresso machine to its app on my iPhone. The machine makes great coffee, so my issue is only with the app. I couldn’t figure out why, but the only way to get it to work was to delete the app, reinstall it, and choose Italy as the region. I found this tip in another review and decided to try it after nothing else worked. It did the trick. This might help if you’re having the same problem.
