Great food, very disappointing app
We absolutely love the food at Hopdoddy, but after about a year of using (or at least trying to) I am not at all a fan of the app or the rewards program. Grubburger’s food wasn’t quite as good but their app and rewards program were so much more user friendly and intuitive. The Hopdoddy app only works about 25% of the time I try to order ahead and it rarely counts my purchases towards the rewards program. Bring back the grubburger app designers- y’all did not improve with the merger in that area.

BEST TURKEY BURGER EVER!!! What else can I say. I've many turkey burgers in my day and I can honestly say this one tops them all. I pretty much created my own burger because technically, this one isn't on the menu. The original Doddy Melt doesn't come with the JALAPENO CHEDDAR BUN, nor does it come with turkey patties. I also added bacon to my sandwich because bacon taste good on EVERYTHING!!!; so why not? This was my 1st time here and I am definitely going back to try more of what they have. There so many things I want to try on the menu now that I know they have good food. They have a full bar and a lot of tv's around the bar area so it almost gives a sports bar feel, but not quite. The outside patio area is also a nice touch for this place as well. The ONLY reason why I'm giving them 4/5 stars is because at the time, they were out of the Brussels sprouts. Apparently, all of their stores were out of the Brussels sprouts due to a shortage of some sort.

Hopdoddy the restaurant is great. This app is incredibly frustrating. They routinely offer me rewards (Free burger of the month! Free shareable!) and then make it impossible to redeem on the app. Occasionally the reward will show at checkout and I can redeem it, but most of the time it’s invisible, and customer support can’t help. After I submitted an order today and was unable to redeem my reward, the app had the audacity to send me a push notification lecturing me about not redeeming my reward. Lololol.

I don’t understand why they spent the time building out an app, and you can’t use it for redeeming rewards on to go orders and earning points is nearly impossible, and they basically need a copy of your birth certificate to add points to your rewards. This isn’t technically the apps fault because they’ve obviously don’t have the functionality in store for it to work seamlessly - but again - I feel like they should have waited on an app that works with their in store system.
