Great Food at Leeds (GFaL) is the University of Leeds Catering Service. We run the Refectory and all of the other food outlets on campus, apart from the Caffe Nero locations and those in the students’ union. 

The GFaL Rewards app makes eating and drinking on the University of Leeds campus taste better than ever. Collect stamps, earn points and enjoy exclusive offers. GFaL Rewards is also the new home of Meal Plan and Food Bundles credit.

Sign up brew 
We like to make a good first impression. Sign up when you download the app and get rewarded with a free hot drink. 



Collect stamps 
Buy 8 drinks to get 1 free. Collect 1 stamp for every brewed or blended drink you order in the Refectory or any GFaL operated café on campus. Collect 8 stamps and get your 9th drink on us. 



Earn points 
Earn points to redeem on rewards you’ll love. Collect 3 points for every £1 you spend in the Refectory or GFaL operated cafés on campus. When you reach 90 points you can redeem your first reward – or save them to unlock more rewards! Scan the QR code in your app each time you visit us, £1 minimum spend.

We will be serving up some exclusive app rewards, enjoy our member’s only ‘offer of the month’ and other app exclusive treats. 



Birthday treat 
Celebrate your birthday with coffee and cake on us! Choose any regular hot drink and a sweet treat from the counter. Make sure to tell us your birthday when you sign up!



Meal Plan 

Catered residents at the University of Leeds use the app to access their Meal Plan daily credit. This can be used to purchase food and drink in the Refectory and at Hugo, Monday to Sunday.
