Terrible Customer Service
As other reviews here state, they have terrible customer service and tracking. Had a great driver from UberEats but had to reach out through ChowNow to ask where my food was. After it was 30 min late they just told me it is what it is. I’ll just stick to the delivery apps that actually work.

As previously stated, they are the middleman between restaurants and driving services. If there’s an issue, it’s not going to be resolved. Was told it was the delivery services issue, but I have no way of contacting them since I went through ChowNow instead of the actual delivery service. They 100% use the restaurants and delivery service scapegoats with no way of recourse.

First they said around 2:54 PM, now it's saying around 3:07 PM. Also, I keep having to reset my password, because it doesn't recognize the password I've used before. You also have to sign in just to track your order, unlike DoorDash, Papa John's, and I think at least one or two other delivery apps.

I’ve gotta say, it feels good to use a service that lets restaurants opt in and know how much they’re paying instead of other services that presume a restaurant’s participation and subjects them to fluctuating commissions. But man, it feels terrible to place an order, receive email confirmation and still have to go chasing that order when it’s late, only to discover the restaurant hasn’t even processed it. Please, ChowNow, involve the restaurant in the order confirmation process. I’ve only placed six orders so far and two of those had me informing the restaurant a transaction even took place. Having the restaurant confirm before ChowNow confirms, doesn’t feel like a tall ask.

I had an order be refunded because they didn’t have the items when I got there. After this the app started to charge a service fee. I’m not paying a service fee for the restaurants mistake. No way to get support. UPDATE: app responded to review, tried to get support no luck. Deleted app and will never use again.
