24/7 phone support is open whenever they want
These people send so much unnecessary mail daily. I want it stopped. However, there is no way you can select paperless delivery in their app ANYWHERE. Their 24/7 “call center” is only available whenever they want it to be available, so, garbage promise. Selling everything and moving to Robinhood.

I opened a Stash account with the $50 promotion. I deposited over the minimum to receive it and I have waited over the 90 day holding period yet I haven’t received the option to move it. Stash charges $3 per month so, to put it simply, they gave money that I can’t transfer in exchange for paying for a subscription. It’s stupid. That alone makes it one star worthy in my opinion.

Customer service is limited to week days, and the people I have talked to have no idea what they’re doing. Follow-up is poor, communication is poor, service is poor. After being a customer for years I am fed up and transferring everything to Robinhood. I’m paying for this app which is difficult to navigate, the way transfers or adding money to portfolios doesn’t make sense. I’m young and use technology daily, I could build this app so many better ways. I’ve been a customer for years, but after using Public, Titan, Bloom, and Robinhood— Stash is garbage and I no longer trust them with my money. I also tried moving my money from my cash card to my portfolio, and it didn’t work so I tried again, and again. Two days later I start receiving emails that my account is -$566.66. I call frantic and they say it’s just a mistake. So am I supposed to trust the emails or the portfolio and account numbers because none of them matched. The transfers showed in the statement but didn’t state they were rejected or cancelled or pended. Extremely frustrating and broke my trust for the company. After the poor service the inability to actually know or check what my account and portfolio balances actually were I am in the process of closing and transferring. They have made this a painful and long process where other brokerages are actually answering my questions instead of Stash. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT HAS BEEN WEEKS AND I HAVE SPENT HOURS AND HAVE GOTTEN NO WHERE. I HAVE MISSED DEADLINES FOR TRANSFERS AND LOST MONEY BECAUSE OF STASH’S INCOMPETENCE.

Problem with Stash is you can only buy, trade whatever what they approve. I’m 70 I can make my own mistakes. I want to buy penny stocks and they won’t let me.
