Terrible App
The web versions, for no good reason, is only for applicants with kanji in their legal name. This version works just fine, and can accept MyNumber. For some reason, the English version is confined to this useless app which can’t properly use the cameras on any iPhone model made in the past 2 and a half years, and thus can’t work. It also can’t accept a simple photo upload from the good camera app (the free one that comes with the phone and actually works) for no good reason, and also doesn’t support manually filling things in. Sony should be ashamed to have this stay so low functioning for this long. It’s been broken forever, it seems. Also just let folks who can read Japanese fill out the web form regardless of whether they’re foreign or not. What year is it?! This was a dealbreaker for me and has me going to a different bank now.
