We monitor your account 24/7 for unusual activity and will refund any money paid out of your account as long as you keep your security information safe. You can log in to the app safely with your fingerprint, face or secure passcode and there is always a confirmation check to make sure you’re paying the right person or business. it’s really good!
This is the perfect app for banking. My one problem is, it has temporarily banned me from talking to Cora, the RBS help ai robot. I don’t know why and I really need some questions answered.
Elements that don’t work
I have just tried to make a payment to my credit card from my current account and was unable to do so. The RBS app is very frustrating and so much more complicated than other banks. It should be totally redone and made more user friendly!

Rbs makes it deliberately difficult to switch money between your accounts in the hope that they will be able to charge overdraught fees. Nice try, I know what you are doing, how many of your customers don’t I wonder?
Terrible biometrics why can't Rbs use Apple Face ID
I have reported constantly to RBS that their biometric is a nightmare! Response "you don't have to use it". This has been going on since they initiated it why isn't it being improved? It is extremely stressful blinking is unpleasant. They should improve it better still use the Face ID where are the users phone has the function. Apple biometrics is always going to be superior to RBS!
Reinstate payments from all accounts!
Why on earth did they restrict payments to be possible from current accounts only? To pay third parties I now have to first transfer money from one of my other RBS accounts to my Current account, and then make a second transaction to pay the third party. Completely unnecessary and time consuming, not to mention inconvenient and a waste of time. Please fix.
Needs work
Some minutes AFTER I have approved a transaction, I get a notification on the app icon that I need to approve the same transaction. Won’t go away until I thread my way to the notification centre and view the unnecessary message.
It works but wastes time
I am usually using the app to see charges and balances and to pay bills. While it is easy to see the current account and recent transactions, I cannot understand why Bill Pay is not more obvious. I have bank accounts in three different countries and in the other two I can see Bill Pay as soon as the app opens. That is useful: when time is short (and when is it not?) I want to pay a bill and move on. This app wastes time.
