Once you have downloaded the app, you scan the QR code on the letter. This will link to your debt account. You will see options for either partial or full payments of your debt. This is the official, secure method of making payments to DFAS.

I was able to make only one payment before it notified me that it no longer supports my OS… Okay so how am I supposed to pay what I owe??? Also no automatic recurring payments which is just sort of an inconvenience, but really?

Like so many others I’m being charged for the governments mistake. They paid taxes on money I never received so they want me to pay them back because the IRS won’t. They tell me I can dispute the IRS instead. In the meantime they’ve been happily ruining my credit while I try to resolve the issue.
