Not Happy
This software is the worst! Multiple attempts and kicked out. Went into branch for help and they had no idea how to help. I was told this happens a lot since the transition. Desktop or phone doesn’t matter. No one by phone, online or in person can help. I don’t care if “it happens”. That is your problem, not mine!

Face and voice recognition works 1 in 5 times. App reminds me of windows 97
NO APPS FOR CUSTOMERS WITH A US PHONE
This is the only mainstream bank that does not have this app. I am a global traveler and need it. BMO needs to move to the new century. Even my credit unions have it. Most banks allow you to transfer $ between US and Canadian accounts. The new verification that must be performed EVERY time you sign on must be processed on a lap top. Really???? It won’t work with my US phone number as a text message. System is very antiquated and I am a 70+ year old. So if that is old to me, you will be losing younger customers fast! Need to get with the times.

Poor Biometric ID
The app functions great. When it wants to. I use the biometric ID instead of the secure ID token. At least twice a day, it has either a network error or times out. Several times it has not recognized my face. Which is interesting as I use Face ID to open my phone each time, so I’m guessing my face hasn’t changed. Definitely has some kinks to be worked out.
Maybe too secure
I definitely feel safe using the app, but I like to access my business account from a desktop and occasionally from a phone, but I am constantly getting locked out and having to call in to reset my credentials; it has gotten slightly better over the last few weeks though
“Security” means poor usability
Buggy, complex, prone to shutting you out of your account forcing you to call the bank every time you have an issue... impossible to use if you don’t have access to both your computer and your phone. so secure even legitimate users can’t access their account!
