ICICI Bank Ltd. has revamped the Money2India interface to enhance customer experience. The new mobile application has improved UI and a host of features new features and improved customer communications. Customers can set biometric login, PIN based login, repeat previous or favorite transactions seamlessly. Customers can track the status of their money transfer request on the mobile app. These features aim to make the platform more customer friendly, enhance the ease of transactions for NRIs looking to transfer money to India.
Poorly conceived and executed app!
I have been using and some times try to use over past seven or so years and it seems to take one step forward and two backwards. Their latest ridiculous innovation is blocking users using VPN on mobile app when their app fails to login when you are traveling outside home country. Their website still works and allows you do to what ever their mobile app is blocking, so I don’t understand what their IT is trying to block, other than causing unnecessary pain to users. Height of ridiculousness. Bank needs to check on whoever is executing this poorly in their IT.

Poor User Interface
Menu and Notification icons overlap with battery and WiFi icons on screen. Those buttons don’t work. Takes a lot of time and atleast two attempts to login. Was able to submit a transaction quickly though.
App built by a twelve year old
This app must be built by a twelve year old as part of a school project, it’s that bad.
Crappy app
India’s largest private bank with worlds worst apps, after recent upgrade I can’t even open the app…when I open the app globe is keep spinning and never gets to login screen
Worst App for iPhone users
Lots of bugs. Very slow and the menu bar or navigation bar does not work unless you rotate your screen. Must need improvement.
Pathetic experience
My first experience with icici Money2India online money transfer is very weird. Here are few facts: 1. Banks says no fee for $1000, but they charge additional fee if the transaction is less than $1000 USD. 2. Bank management said it will be an instant transfer, but it takes 8 days. 3. There is no way to cancel the transaction(neither online or customer care) even if we realize after few seconds of submission. 4. Also transfer rate is not great compared to Remitly or Xoom. 5. App interface is pathetic and not user friendly., didn’t expect this type of app and online transfer limitations from ICICI.
