Digital Rupee (e₹), also known as Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), is the digital form of currency launched by RBI. Digital Rupee (CBDC) is a legal tender, similar to the sovereign currency, and is issued in digital form by the Reserve Bank of India. ICICI Digital Rupee App offers e₹ wallet and enables the users to transact in e₹. This e₹ wallet is similar to your physical wallet in digital form on your device.

IndiaIssues with Transaction Notifications, UPI Loading, and Transaction History
No SMS notifications are being received for transactions. I can't load money using UPI. I can only pay using a UPI QR code, but I can't pay using a VPA handle. Additionally, the transaction history doesn't display the IN and OUT tokens. For example, if I have only ₹10 token and I want to pay only ₹5, the transaction log only shows ₹5 sent, but I can't see where the ₹10 token is redeemed and then ₹5 sent to the other person, with the remaining ₹5 returned to me.

I was able to install and load money only once, app is not working for me. Tried multiple times in last one month but no luck. It never goes beyond step 4 - Continue to set you wallet PIN with error ‘The request timed out’

Few enhancements are pending to launch and load from different UPI is not showing. When can we expect the updated version
