BBL is notorious for super outdated mindset
I took my precious time to fly back to Thailand to verify my banking information with the bank, setting up the whole thing. And when I flied back, the app just ridiculously asked me to turn off the wifi and use the cellular data. Of course, it couldn't recognize me because I don't use the Thai sim card. WHY would I need to use a Thai sim card overseas!!! I need to use the local sim because that's where I live. After setting everything up, the app suppose to let you access the app using wi-fi, not asking you to swap the sim card, apply for data roaming plan, to use the app for just every updates you release!

Worst banking app
I suggest you look for another Bank. you can only use one phone and one app cannot have it on anything else. Some of us do our business on other than a phone or possibly two phones. If it isn’t straightened up, I’ll be changing banks. Bank stated the reason they do that is because they have too many scams. The real reason is they copy everybody’s IDs and bank books on every transaction and they have too much paperwork floating around, I guess they don’t understand that copying machines keep a record.

Title says it all. The app give me a smiling bowing lady. 2 days now. Totally unacceptable. I can’t pay my bills! I can’t help a friend with a transfer. Can’t pay with QR scan. Fix now!

I STRONGLY suggest you not open a Bangkok bank account. Everyday the application is glitching and crashing at crucial moments. (When you already pressed send money) The fact that it is 2023 and Bangkok bank is among the “best” banks in Thailand, yet they are incapable of maintaining an application that works is a JOKE. Do everything possible to use other banks. KASIKORN ALL DAY
