Within 48 hours using this app I have actually comprehended what is being taught far beyond any previous comprehension for past products. Honestly they could charge more than double the amount and it would be totally worth it." —Artice, May 3, 2022 "It's obvious a lot of time, love and energy has gone into this app. It's very well thought out, easy to follow and keeps you coming back for more. This is the waay!
This app succeeded where years of music teachers failed. The content is clear, beautifully structured, and unfussy. The training modules are exactly the gamefied shame-free repetition that I needed! I keep telling people about this app!
Love this app!
For someone with a busy schedule this app has been the best way to learn theory. I highly recommend it!
The best app I have ever owned!!
This is the first thing I open up in the morning and the last thing I put away before I go to sleep. I wish this was around when I started learning music. I have never seen better music theory training anywhere. Recommend to anyone at any age or skill level. The memory training is phenomenal. Can’t give enough praise for this app. Very well done. It’s worth every penny.
NOT ACTUALLY FOR BEGINNERS
This app is great but the guy obviously doesn’t remember what it’s like to be a beginner in music theory since there are SO many questions I have that he doesn’t answer and there’s no way to find the answer— He teaches a lesson and then you practice and if you don’t get it too bad you just keep doing the same thing over and over, it doesn’t tell you WHY something’s wrong or how to do it right. I cannot figure out why some majors have flats and sharps in certain places and where they’re supposed to be. If you know a little bit about music theory, this app might work for you but not if you know nothing, like me. Please fix so that when people get many questions wrong in a row it will help them instead of just me continuing to get them wrong because that doesn’t actually do anything. Good quality app so far, but I can’t get past this lesson without help…
Great app!
Great app to learn the music basics and practice...
Amazing App for Theory Practice
I’ve looked for an app like this for SO long!
So grateful I found this app!
It’s been about 20 years since I last studied music theory, and recently found myself writing songs for the first time in about that long too. Really needed a refresher course and this app has been perfect! It breaks down everything really simply, which is not easy to do with something as complex as music theory, and the practice games are great for making sure you’re absorbing everything and improving your skills. If you need a music theory refresher I cannot recommend this app enough!
• New exercises. Three exercises have been added (and another two updated) in the Melodies and Chords courses. These exercises will help you develop a strong foundation for the order of flats/sharps and fast fifths. • Completion screens I. If you're trying to refresh a three-star skill but only get two stars, Waay will now more clearly tell you why the skill wasn't refreshed. • Completion screen II. Once you're finished a set of corrections, you can now return to the original exercise with one tap (Thanks, Jacob!). You'll also get more specific feedback on your performance (Thanks, Andrew!). • Skipped taps. When scales were entered quickly, a button press could sometimes not be caught. This issue has now been fixed. (Thanks, Lillian and Andrew!) • A few other minor tweaks, fixes, and additions. I hope you like the new update! Please feel free to get in touch anytime with feedback or questions about Waay. You can tap "Get in Touch" in the sidebar (under More) or go to tenkettles.com/contact. -Alex
