should be a website
i don’t get the point of having to download an app to see information about arts and culture. so that they can track you? NYPL kept pushing me to get the app to see the “full exhibition “ of their Treasures. it has two videos of 2 minutes and 4 minutes. that’s all.
Let’s have some fine art
It’s free!!! Can U believe it ! It’s nice , it’s fine art
save guides??
how about a way to personalize the app so we can save our favorite guides??? or put a star beside them so we can return to them easily?? thanks!
Poorly designed app that is annoying to use in a museum
The use case of his app is very frequently pulling your phone from your pocket/purse and quickly accessing information. QUICKLY is the important word, but it fails at that. First, every time I open the app, it freezes for 5-10 seconds. Why? Who knows. Also the back button fails to work much of the time. Let's say that I'm in a gallery, and the numbers of each artwork increases sequentially. Not all galleries do this, but probably common enough. So if I'm at artwork #405 and need to get to #406 which is right next to it, there should obviously be a button to do that, right? Nope. I have back out, and input 406. FOR EVERY SINGLE ARTWORK. so frustrating.
Very useful, but restarts every time the screen closes
Frustrating that every time the screen is closed, the app completely closes too. Getting the detail of a painting then requires multiple steps starting from choosing the museum.
Don’t Get It!
This is a bumbling, frustrating App that will kill all of your museum Zen. Use the museum’s audio tour if available but skip this aggravation
