I’m an adoptee and a senior citizen. It is so great to be able to search for family now as well as ancestors. Just the use of the census records at our fingertips is phenomenal. I highly encourage anyone to take a dive into their own histories!

WOW!! What a great resource. I’ve been doing family history for over 50 years…self-taught and worth every cent. I expected to be overwhelmed, in the dark, too old to learn now. I’m pleasantly surprised to find that I’m better educated than I think…always nice to know. It’s surprising to find that all those mistakes, years of writing people, hours at the library with a patient husband caring for 5 kids, and a bunch of Eureka moments…usually accidental, yielded some knowledge. Now, thanks to the Academy, I have SO many new places to look, and tips and tricks and…I gotta go!

Has this thing even been updated in the last like 5 years? Still has videos about the elusive 1950 Census which is now available as well as videos from an instructor not even living. Seems like it’s no longer updated.
