This app contains the four major systems of the Airbus A320/A321; Hydraulic, Electric, Fuel, and Bleed Air. These diagrams are a completely interactive training tool allowing a pilot to build a solid understanding of each systems. The diagrams allow a user to learn the systems by manipulating switches and visualizing the cause and effect of their actions. Each A320/A321 diagram is programmed to run a variety of failures, that a pilot can then practice procedures on and see the outcome. DISCLAIMER: These diagrams are to be used as a reference only and can not be used for flight or to replace formal training.
Incredible high fidelity learning
I just have to take time out of studying to share my impressions of this incredible app. I just got hired into the A320 for a legacy American carrier and immediately purchased this awsome app. To be able to look at the schematic while reading the systems manual has truly taken learning and understanding to the next level. I was just studying the electrical system and the AC ESS FEED button, very confusing with just a systems manual text, but with the iPad running this app I was able to see all BUS Ties and Buses come to life. Incredible detail even down to the ALTN illumination on the AC ESS FEED button on the overhead. Any Airbus drivers should really checkout this incredible app, it has tons of features and you can run failures and control the time so you can really see all the implications of a particular system failure and reconfiguration. This app will not only be my companion for initial training but for all recurrent, upgrade, etc. Fantastic job to the creators. Keep up the great work. God Bless.
Great App, but...
I really like this app, especially the interactive features. The one problem I have with it is the use of white text over light gray background used for some of the options. Though cute, it is really tough to read the text. I usually ready in bed at night and I end up shutting off the app because I have to set the iPad display on bright to have any chance of reading the text...something I rather not do in a dark room, close to bed time.
Top Notch
Just as described and an incredibly useful tool for better understanding aircraft systems. The interactive function, with failures is excellent. Well done.
