Invasive, insecure
First of all, this app’s “security” is based entirely on your phone number, in other words no security at all, you’re just one SIM swap away from your account being compromised. Then they want to use the Open Banking APIs to plug directly into your bank. Not only is this grossly intrusive, but also reckless given the previous point. Finally they have a “Delete my data” button but it doesn’t actually do anything, as they are a data processor, not a controller, but they do not let the controller know of the data deletion request.
Awful
It never worked and the message doesn’t explain the issue. It can’t read the chip in the passport. Wasted way too much time with this app
Buggy and useless customer support
Encountered 3 bugs trying to use this app, with advice from customer support to switch to mobile data through to using someone else’s device! Following their own support instructions ended up blocking my account with them for 24 hours
Barely fit for purpose
Claimed my passport didn’t have a chip—it never even tried to read the chip, just claimed it didn’t exist, when every passport since rocks were new has had a chip in it. Then you get to play the rejection roulette, when their “checkers” randomly decide to reject a photo without giving any reasons. Overall it’s a poor app experience for a weak product.
Application should be disallowed
Just obscene that any organization should use a verification tool like Thirdfort that requires the submission of multiple items of personal info - their database is a goldmine for identity thieves. Security “experts” are idiots.
Still Horrific
Not only doesn’t the App not work but the customer service agents cannot open pdf files when they try to manually assist. Without question the worst way to manage an online kyc process that has ever been invented.
pretty poor
Adding a drivers license is buggy and does not recognise the license or give you any options. The passport option is better but now it does not allow you to go back and change your name and initials if they differ slightly from drivers license to passport. Not user friendly.
