Not sure what I expected from app but when the app limits the email address to less that the characters in your name it makes it impossible to resister. I could enter the 40 characters in my email address to get the verification code which was sent. But can’t complete verification because the email field is limited to less than 40 characters. Astonishing lack of attention to detail.

The app does not remember your password. It requires you to enter your password every time you launch the app. This also means that if you are off-grid without internet connectivity, you can’t sign into the app and manage your power station. Very disappointing that this has not been fixed.

Update: I previously struggled to get past the email verification stage, but finally got through. Turns out the emails were not getting sent or getting through (checked junk) when signing in with Apple ID using the private relay. Email verification worked with a plain old iCloud account. The login seems to expire every 24 hours, which wouldn’t be good for being off grid for several days or if the internet was down. At the very least they could make the login only expire after a week or more.
