How do I give -stars?
This app is constantly trying to kill itself. It drains your battery like a hole in a bucket and causes your phone to heat up dramatically. It crashes, bugs out and just straight up doesn’t work. Awful.

The unholy alliance. Mica is like being handed an etch a sketch and told to draw. It is impossible to sketch an accurate drawing as there is no way to turn off snapping. And routinely the sketch morphs into a drunk drawing before you very eyes. Specifically with Code Blue it’s required to use the app. Which requires making 2 drawings. A hand drawn accurate one. And Micas drunk might be close by 6 inches to a foot sketch. Plus in the end you still have to draw it in xactimate. Mica unfortunately is a poorly made software that falls short at every turn. I’ve asked questions on live training and they ignore my questions because they know it’s garbage. Because of the unholy alliance it’s a requirement. And because of the requirement they don’t have to improve. As a result the customer gets to stand there for 5 hours while you attempt to get the drawing uploaded to code blue and approved. Without code blue I’ll have equipment set within 30 min of arriving. Honestly after the 6 hours of bull I was ready to call it and say sorry customer we’ll have to set fans tomorrow. One thing that’s nice is that I can send one of my guys out in a car to fulfill the “arrive in 2 hours” requirement. Fortunately the equipment could be clear across the state and still arrive before it was needed.

MICA was once cutting edge technology, unfortunately it has become the obsolete software. Many way better options with way more features and integrations!!!

Feels slow and outdated and for the amount of time it’s been in the industry. Field employees often do not use the desktop version of restore and going back to fix errors and glitches on their data is a cost of time and money when invoices depend on this app. Would advise on getting serious on improving general functionality and listening to those using this app for hours on a daily basis.

My techs and managers have to fumble this this software in the customers home. By far the biggest problem is the sketch function of the app on the tablet. I just spent an hour fighting with a sketch that took me 5 minutes in xactimate. The walls default to overlap. The sketch zooms in too tight when you need look at the entire room, then won’t hold the zoom in when you are trying to work on a small offset or closet. The walls randomly create absurd angles. It’s the opposite of intuitive. Please fire your software team that is in charge of this function of app and just start from scratch. It couldn’t possibly be worse. Best in Class😂
