This app has improved tremendously! I love using it on my phone or on the tablet. But it makes it so easy to write a repair order from the palm of your hand! Thank you for continuing to improve it!
BUGGY
First, the vin scanner is next to pointless. Second, why is there an option to remember login when it NEVER does. You’re subject to the annoying 2 step authentication every single time. We don’t have time for all the errors it gives either. Obscure stuff nobody’s ever seen, requiring you to go to the dumpster fire of CDK on a desktop to fix. Kind of kills the point of using the app…
Scanner unresponsive and bugs often
VIN and License scanner stopped working almost completely. Unable to decode VIN msg with several makes and models after building a repair order. The app is very convenient to have on my iPhone and I will continue to use it despite some of the features not working properly. Hope to see improvement soon!
LRO Troubles
I have so many LRO’s after downloading this app. My boss hates me now. Thanks CDK.
Bad ease of access
There’s no flow to this system sadly. The VIN feature is very bad, takes a long time to scan the vin. Takes a long time to roll RO to print.
More efficient and streamlined from 2.0 series
This version of Lane is a much more efficient and streamlined write-up process with a few enhancements to some of the clunkiness of previous versions. The thumbnails of photos taken during the lane inspection is just one of the many features this version has improved over the 2.0 series. No need to move from tab to tab with all of the data needs located in separate boxes on one screen. Good app.
