App crashes
This app is crappy. I downloaded the app as directed and the app doesn’t load properly then shuts off after a few seconds. Please fix this!

Installed the app after getting an email from Bosch saying I needed to install this “new and improved” version. Installed easily but all I get when I open the app is a blank screen that’s supposed to be for terms and conditions. I was able to check boxes at the bottom (not sure what I was agreeing to since the page was blank), but as soon as I click “proceed” the app shuts down. Complete joke and waste of time. Uninstalled and unimpressed.

I get the email that I have to transfer from the old app to the new one. Ok, no problem. Apparently you better have two separate devices to complete the process. Once you complete the info for the new single key login it emails you a “verification” code. Again, not a problem except that the app designer was hired off of Wish and made it to where the second you leave the app to go another app I.e. your email to get the freshly emailed code it boots you from the system and makes everything you just did null and void. Yes, you get in an endless cycle of entering your info, trying to go to your email for the newest code and then it boots you and you never have a chance to put the code in. Dumb. Pro tip- have two devices handy and never minimize the app or you will never complete the process. Bosch- do better

This app may work fine, but I quit installation half way through because this comes with a new user account requiring all sorts of info plus email and cell phone verification. I don’t think so. Bosch doesn’t need to have all this personal information. I just need a simple app to control my thermostat.

I had no problem installing this app but I don’t at all understand why it is better than the Bosch app (which was clunky but ok). This app has a cleaner appearance but it is not at all intuitive for setting up schedules. It took me some time to get the old one right and now you’re making me learn a new one. The 1 star rating is for Bosch and your poor customer service strategy.

Scanned the QR code, put in all the requested info and all I get is ERROR messages! The old app worked just fine so I put it back on my phone. Don’t bother with this.
