New update lags and crashes
I wish I wasn’t forced to update because the new update is horrible with the lag. I had to hit save on my reading session several times for it go through and then the app crashed and repeatedly crashed 4 times when I tried to reopen it. Which then I found out it didn’t even save my reading session. Other than the new update I’ve been loyal to this app for years. Love that it predicts when I’ll finish a book, tells me how many pages/sessions I have left at my current progress. Really the only thing bringing the rating down is the update. Update 4/21/24 newest update is even worse. Every time you hit save the entire app crashes. This app did not need updating in any way before this month. It worked just fine. But clearly whoever is working on the programming doesn’t know what they’re doing considering they’ve broken the app entirely now.

Paid and Loved! the app, when It was working. I am unable to add books because the app crashes every-time I try to save the information. I even reloaded the app and lol ( not actually funny) allllllllll my information is gone. Now sure what happened to the back or yea😇🥹.

Works well! Ngl I’ve never had premium but certainly will get the lifetime subscription whenever I get the funds to LOL. It’s not badly priced at all it’s really fair just dont have that much of a disposable income rn. I’ve had this app for 4 years and love the customization/practicality of it. I will say though, the bugs have gotten worse overtime especially this year. Like right now after the most recent update I have issues with after a reading session not being able to hit ‘save’ so I have to close the app and manually enter in how long I read for etc, right now I can’t even create a book to currently read!!!!, and sometimes the app just closes the second I open it. It’s been extremely frustrating, I’m fine with some but right now I’m dealing with 3 bugs on and off. Wish you could report it inside the app like … is giving me issues. I love this app but I wanna be able to add something to my reading list right now and can’t
United StatesThe 2024 April 18 update makes Leio unusable
The app literally no longer allows me to end reading sessions. The "Save" button is gone. The reading tracker app Leio can no longer be used to track reading. And even if it could, the goals tab no longer tracks anything with any accuracy: even before this, my monthly page goal stopped updating, my weekly hour goal started showing the past seven days instead of the current week ahead (making it equivalent to a daily goal), my yearly books-read goal doesn't budge when I archive a finished book. And the statistics tab is equally untrustworthy: in the 2024 section, for example, it reports me finishing about 60 more books this year than I have (I think it's reporting the number of total books I've ever finished in the app, not just those finished so far this year). I'd love to export all my data and maybe try to start over with a new app, but that crashes Leio. I'm genuinely sad things have gotten this bad.

After the April 2024 update, all my data in "Streaks" (Longest Session, Most Pages, etc.) is wrong. Also, it keeps forcing me to log into Game Center every time I open or switch to the app regardless of whether the setting for that is on or off. EDIT: It's more broken that I realized. After a session, it doesn't update how much time is left or if the book has been finished. I had to tap "Save" several times to even finish the session, and that duplicated the session data. I love this app, but it's not very usable right now. EDIT2: It's actually even worse. All my goals were changed, and the data associated with them is gone. So instead of being about 50% of the way to my yearly page goal, I'm now 0%. On top of that, this data (pages read/time read/etc) doesn't even seem to update after a session.
