Book information like title, author, description, publisher, year of publication, genre, and even the description can also be edited to make your Library as accurate or personal as possible. - Quote saving — Find a passage within a book that you want to save for later? Book Track can save your favorite quotes in one place so you can read them again later. You can even put them on your Home screen using a widget. - All the stats, right where you'll see them — Book Track collects library and reading statistics and puts them right on your Home screen with gorgeous widgets. iPad users can enjoy an extra large widget with even more stats, too! - Support for importing books from services like Goodreads, BookBuddy, Reading List, and more — It's never been easier to import your books from other apps and services so you don't have to start building your library all over again. Book collections can also be exported to PDF and CSV as well. - Deep integration with iOS and macOS — Book Track includes support for the latest Apple features including Shortcuts and Siri, while Widgets can be used to put your favorite quotes right onto your Home screen. - Privacy — Book Track doesn't collect any of your personal data and doesn't track you in any way. Good but a little wonky
Love this app for keeping track of all the books I own/have read!! I’m such a sucker for keeping statistics like this & this has literally everything I’m looking for. The thing that brings it down for me is that some of the organizational tools can be kind of wonky (books out of place if sorted by inserted dates or purchased dates, but this might be my own fault) and also sometimes the covers of the books go blank & all there is, is a blue cover with the title in a white font. This makes it kind of hard to differentiate between different books, but also it messes with the look of it all. Overall, though, I love this app, I use it as my main reading tracking instead of goodreads

In my last review, November 2023, right after I paid a small price (approximately $15) for the lifetime Pro version, I mentioned a couple flaws. The developer immediately contacted me on email, thanking me for the feedback! I was impressed! So I got a little busy around the holidays and hadn’t used it for 2 months, so imagine my surprise and horror at finding ALL of my scanned books gone!! So I again contacted the developer and she immediately got back to me. We finally figured out that I had turned off Book Tracker going to iCloud, and because it was over 2 months, everything erased. Lesson learned as I had scanned over 100 books. Today, I started over and have a couple of feedback suggestions, but I can’t find my email messages to her. 1. Publish Date: Can this be year only? Because if we have to manually enter the book without using the bar codes, the publish date in the books only show the year. 2. Is there a way to only sort the fields I personally use? It’s a hassle to enter something & save and then to be thrown back to the beginning. 3. Can the fields of Title and sub-titles, have the words automatically capitalize each word? 3. Can the location of the book default to the same place each time, like the hardcover/paperback field does? 4. The: Scan Bar Code field rarely works, even on new books. This is the main reason why I purchased this app in the first place.

I just wanted a way to organize the books I’ve read. I wanted the basic features. I add 5 books and it wouldn’t allow me to add any more without upgrading to the pro version for $15.99. I deleted the app. I really don’t need all the features that come with the pro version.

This is a pretty good app to track the books that you read. I would love to see some improvements. I would like to see my review stars on the main page along with the book title. It would also be cool to have the background look like a bookshelf or something else instead of plain white.

I’m obsessed with this tracker. It’s the only one I use, and personally, I think it’s the most convenient. I love how often it’s updated and all the new features they bring. My one suggestion would be to have an option to show the books in a row format, with something dividing the series, authors, etc. It’s just a little hard for my brain to process books that aren’t in the same series next to eachother so closely.

I love how this app allows me to add all the physical books that I have at home (more than 500) and when I don’t remember whether I have a title or not I can just type in the name and find it easily. I also like the idea of “loaned out” books. It would be nice to have a “loaned in” feature (when I borrow from the library etc.) as well. I want it only because when I read a book that I don’t have it never saves it to the list of books I read, so I have to add the book to the wish list not to lose it.
