confusing -is this app still viable?
says there ar ein app purchass but nothing notes on the app page -so i dont know how much it is -and when you download it only shows you something like 3 pages and then freezes to ask you to oay -but still doesnt tel you how much it is. this came very highly recommended (on several websites) but i cant just hit PAY when i dont know how much I’m going to be spending and i cant really try it -unless looking at the cover of a book is considered trying it
Convoluted interface.
Though it technically lets you create ‘collections’ of your books, it’s nearly impossible to find said collections.
Good
Best one among them
Great, but…
I really love this app, but I paid for the full version and still don’t get all the themes? Seriously?
Needs import method for files already on phone
No option to import an epub file already downloaded. Going back to Epub Reader (allows import)
Abandon-ware
I still try to use this long abandoned app, which once was the king of reader apps. However, now if you try to select text to look up or whatever, it simply locks up for me, and only a force quit will allow further action.
IOS 16 destroys Marvin 3
I’ve been using Marvin for years. Now with IOS 16 I can no longer highlight the text. And this is a big factor for me. So until Marvin 3 is updated I would not recommend its use nor the payment of $4.99 to get the pro version. Either update Marvin or pull it off the App Store.
