Really don’t like the new format.
Just don’t like the new online format. Sorry
Excellent App & Excellent Customer Service
The app is super clean, adverts are not screen-filling and not obnoxious thankfully, and of course the writing is always very interesting and witty. The customer support at The Times is amazing, cheerfully and helpfully giving me all of the information I asked for, and very personable, which is important to me during any customer service experience. It felt like we worked together and I felt happier after the experience than I did before, 6* service!
Low quality app
Subscribed to get Rugby World Cup coverage. Very disappointed to find no rugby section let alone a rugby World Cup one. You have to trawl through all the sports looking for what you want. I’m in Ireland. A couple of times I’ve been presented with an Irish Sports section which has been handy but there’s no way of finding it again. Overall a very poorly designed app that I will not be subscribing to once the tournament is over.
UX issues
Like the new app overall but it doesn't save my place when I close it - I have to try remember where I was each time and find my place, it's very annoying! Also older articles now show up in new editions which is strange (obituraries I've already seen etc so I have go scroll past old content). Lots of missing names and links in the fashion pages so can't click through and buy. Saving me money I guess 🤷🏻♀️

I have been reading the Times online for over a year now and find it highly informative and a great variety of interesting topics!!!
Love the Irish edition
The sports section is first class with a brilliant Neil Francis writing about Rugby and also the rugby match reports 👏👏👏
Variety
I like the mixture of news
