NEWS
Love BBC NEWS
Poor for sight impaired
The text is now too small in most articles
News comment
The Business and Company news sections are becoming increasingly poor with very little content as well as duplications. Some items are days old. Not what you would expect from an organisation of such depth.
Post office
Clearly the people at BBC are careful not to bring their own opinions and views into the dialogue. This must be difficult but shines above other organisations. Well done.
Oh dear beeb
BBC news app has been my breakfast staple for years. Easy to use with informative content. This new interface is horrible. So much white space and confusing layout. Why change something that worked so well ? I love almost everything about the BBC. But this?, sorry, no. Update: still bad. - Layout is still terrible - No menus for selecting specific news areas - myNews needs to be manually updated each time. - no Latest news section - sections keep disappearing from MyNew only to come back a few days later
Bias
The BBC news is a poor substitute for what it once was. Political bias in the BBC has destroyed its reputation which is sad. I rarely use the News app these days as stories are prioritised in order to promote political narratives in favour of the government. Don’t take the BBC too serious these days.
Awful on iPad Pro
These guys don't seem to have the concept of responsive design. Looks terrible when I rotate the iPad. To BBC: Notice how eCommerce apps are flawless. Those companies hire skilled developers to do the job. What you are doing is unacceptable!
