It should adjust to tablets… The back button did not work I had to continually go to check out and then use the back button there… It looks like they're not really working on this app as the last update was over a year ago!
CanadaThis App is a Dud
I always have to come to the App Store in order to open the app for it to work. If I open the installed app from my home screen it does not load. For such a large company I’m not sure how they’re failing to fix these major glitches. I guess they don’t really need the patronage after all.

It says my number is already on file but my main number is somehow my work number which I never use in apps, instead of my personal number.

Not loving it. Doesn’t have my email address when I regularly receive emails from Michaels on it. Signed up for a new email address and the passcode timed out before I got the email with the passcode. Then I tried to sign in with new email and it says no email exists.

This app is so frustrating. It shows a bunch of things but you can’t filter by store availability. So when I’m looking at items I like, I go to add them to the cart, only to find they’re not available at my preferred locations and/or not in stock at all. What’s the point?! Also…. Most things are not in stock. Again, why show this??

If looking for yarn by brand when following the prompts to Eg. Lion Brand I would expect to see all available Lion Brand yarns for sale online/in store. Nope! Same for shopping all yarn, I picked the option for all yarn. Do I get all yarn? Nope then you have to pick the next menu item so that you still can’t shop all yarns in eg. DK weight. You have to go thru each menu level to hopefully find all DK weight yarn. When I use an app or website I want them to be organized efficiently. If I am looking for Lion Brand yarn and it says in the menu shop by brand I expect all the Lion Brand yarn you offer to be there. At present it is not. Same can be said for your own house brand yarn Loops and Threads, you have to look all over for what is offered. I can look online anywhere in the world for yarn, I am choosing your store. Up your game Michael’s. Also some where when ordering yarn online you should have a disclaimer for Canadians that you cannot guarantee the same dye lots. This is huge for knitting/crochet when making a sweater. Example; I ordered yarn online I only need max 10 skeins, I had to order in sets of 3, I ordered the required 12 skeins. Funny as my yarn arrived, it arrived in sets of 2 from stores all over Canada. Only 2 skeins were a different dye lot lucky me. See Woolwear Wearhouse they have one wearhouse and offer the buyer a selection of dye lots and other online stores warn buyer they cannot guarantee dye lots (do that). Other craft items outside of yarn (but also includes yarn/knitting/crochet) also have dead end menus, clean that up. They have been like this for years now and getting more dead ends each year.
