The economist legacy app
Please please please keep the legacy app operational. It’s so much better, more intuitive and clearer to navigate than the new replacement app. Perhaps even consider removing the new app altogether. It’s a complete step backward. Otherwise such a great magazine.

I enjoy the content - but since the last upgrade your app keeps crashing whilst I’m trying to read articles. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!! I have deleted and reinstalled your app - the problem remains. You get to read a few sentences and then CRASH!!! Please fix or return my subscription fee as I cannot access your content.

I previously complained about this app crashing on launch. Deleting it and reinstalling fixed that, but now it’s crashed twice while reading articles in the space of five minutes. The webpage based alternative they are now promoting presents complete issues in a much more annoying-to-read way. It’s really hard to understand why this is so hard for them!

Publications like Economist are required to provide evidence-based commentary on matters that affect humanity and the environment we habituate. Economist has a reputable history earned by excellent quality commentary: it must now move forward.
