I wanted to match my logo colour and the rep at Kotara Bunnings was so helpful and loaded the app and I matched my colour for the paint.

Picking colours from an image results in very inaccurate matches - if I create a colour on my PC and upload the image (even when saved in a lossless format) it results in different RGB values. Making changes to the colour often gives identical results in the app, almost as if it simply matched to the nearest from a preset list of colours (but even this usually isn’t the case). There is also no way of modifying the colour chosen other than changing the “intensity” level, however this is often only available in one direction only (i.e. the colour is already the least intense available) and each step is quite a significant change. My local Bunnings also had no idea how to make use of the QR code provided (and no actual tint codes are available from the app). Amazing idea, very poor implementation.
