Lots of potential but very difficult to use. App is tough to navigate. Tours mix into one another. GPS is inaccurate and dangerous and it tells you to turn without notice. Try other navigations apps before this one. Lots of dead air filled with music. Could have added a lot more content for the drives Difficult to get to the starting points.
Overall, a pretty decent value, but there are sections that need to be updated as the there were a few things along one of the routes that were not there anymore, specifically some caves that had a visitor center located nearby. It appears someone brought up that land and tore down the visitor center. However, the app worked reasonably well and since I got five tours for $30 and used three of them, it was worth it.
Easy to use, great self-guided tour around the Volcano National Park.
This is a MUST HAVE if you're planning on doing any driving or exploring on the Big Island! We used the guided tours all the way up to Pololu and back around the south point and back up to Waipio. We also used the guided tour in HVNP and it was so helpful! The guide highlights points of interest, restaurants, towns, and anything else along the way. There's also so much history about Hawaii in his narration and that was such a nice bonus. Spend the $30 and get all the tours - worth every penny!
Awesome app!! We stopped at many places we wouldn't have if we didn't have this app. Great stories about the areas we were in and very awesome music that really set the mood for travel. Worth the price for the tours. Will use again and again. My wife wants one for Korea but this is only for the islands. If you're traveling to the islands and are driving, this is a must have. You won't be disappointed. Much mahalos.
