With KReader, you can easily create self-maintained libraries of all your documents by specifying which formats to include and which folders to scan.
All document collections can be viewed in either a list or grid pattern.
Documents are easily identified by size-adjustable thumbnail covers and detailed descriptions.

While reading, documents can be locked into a vertical only scrolling mode and can be set to either page or screen flipping.

Perfect for my needs, a ridiculous amount of settings for enhanced experience and widget! It would have been nice to add a custom widget for books (other than favorites or recent) - for example I could create one widget for psychology books and another one for fiction books (to manually/ custom add books into that widget). Of course, I'm aware that it's hard to add such a setting for custom paths/books for widget into app code, but maybe in the future, an update for will be implemented. 5⭐
Why does this need to run at startup and it also seems to have a few other permissions it probably doesn't need?
I was still happy two years after buying it. It's a shame about his 3.8 rating and his 1000+ buyers. He really deserves much better than this.
Good performance and design, but I can see only monochromatic illustration instead of colored. Why? (Android 13, a lot of memory). No preference for that.

Too thick Orange space at the bottom blocking what could be useful library of books listing. Trim should really allow trimming thickness of Orange block not just color picking of it. Also, allow multiple selection of library content for multi-simultaneous removal from library. You have it delete one book resetting to top of page. Stay where user deleting at man! Otherwise, quite happy to catch it on sale. Scanning for books engine could be faster, but I prefer reading with this versus my other 6
