If you've spent your money on IoT devices you know that IoT automation can be slow and unreliable with restricted rule sets and manufacturer lock-in.
Do you want your *home* automation to stay in your home? Should it really be run over the internet in someone else's cloud? You may feel uncomfortable about using an overseas owned internet/cloud service to monitor and control your home lights and appliances. I want my lights to turn on even when my internet connection is down!
With AutomationManager you manage your own *local* automation server to break free of those other systems. Reprogram your overseas managed cloud IoT devices for safe local access.
This is NOT the official product apps. You will still need the official app at least once to connect your devices to your WiFi (they use a locked/proprietary methods to set your router password into the device).
Refund policy: your app purchase will be refunded if you are not satisfied with the app or you return your devices. Check the developer site (below) for the refund procedure (it's painless).
Why not free? Unlike most IoT apps, AutomationManager is NOT collecting your personal information and habits in the cloud. There is no intention to direct advertising to you in the future. This pays for support and development, and is NOT funded by selling private information to 3rd parties.

For a small investment and no monthly cost, you can set up your own home automation to rival Rogers Smart Home Monitoring, Time Warner's IntelligentHome, and more without vendor lock-in. Visit the developer's site (link below) or email me for more information.
Good app for controlling smart home devices. I mainly use it to control a Wemo smart plug, automated with the Tasker app. It can also see and control my LIFX and Tplink bulbs.
I had a house full of wemo devices that were barely usable. After switching over to this app I have full control over my whole house!
Great app. Probably the only one out there that lets me send a repeated signal to my switches. Love it.
Too complicated and lacks any how-to guides. I bought the app with the sole purpose of collecting energy monitoring data from my Kasa energy monitoring plug. The developer recommended their own app on the TP-Link forums as the solution and provided links to what should have been a guide. All I could find on the site was ways to reduce battery drain. Without proper setup guides this app is useless for most users.
Setup was a bit tricky at first but it runs perfectly. A solid app, far better than the manufacturer's one that was constantly losing connection to the units.
I have no experience with smart devices. But I managed to send intents to a wiz plug from Tasker via this app. Obviously it looks like you can do much, much more with this app.
I've been using Automation Manager for many years and nothing gets close to it's perfection and ease of use. There are many ways in which one can access one's IoT switching devices locally and remotely and AM's set of logically implemented rules mean that your IoT will run itself whilst you are relaxing at home or away if you so desire. The rules can send you reports about the status of your devices if wanted too. All this coupled with unparalleled support from the developer.
Reduces permissions needed for OnDrive remote access
