What is the use of an app or even service that has a defunctioning CAPTCHA that blocks any access? Once again reverted to YouTube.
Great streaming quality but awful app. Scrolling in playlists will sometimes scroll infinitely because the page keeps going up, shuffle mode isn't random (nobody wants a personalized shuffle, just make it random), and when searching in a playlist each song appears 4 times
This app is a battery drainer! It automatically opens in the background for no reason. If you force stop it still reopens. Tempted to just uninstall.
The TV app is absolutely awful! You cannot view your list of favorite artists in alphabetical order like you can on the mobile app. Instead you have to go thru your list based on the order you favorited them. Just....why?!? I have been a customer for several years and am close to leaving Tidal. Whoever created the TV app should be fired!
The app has a few issues. If you go from having wifi to having no wifi the app will stop working even if you're listening to downloaded music. Also, if you add a song to a downloaded playlist it won't automatically download. And if you put your music on loop, close the app, open it up again it will no longer be on loop which is annoying. Otherwise, the sound quality is really good.
Not winning their competitor in software but does win in sound quality, which is more than enough for me. Also a cheaper student plan which is great.
