Your data is stored locally on your phone. You can optionally schedule backups to your private cloud storage or take your backup file with you anywhere. Data are entirely under your control at all times.
Data stored in the app's private directories are not accessible by any other apps or processes. Your backups are transferred to the cloud via secure (encrypted) channels. We don't send your data to our servers. We don't have access to your entries. Third parties cannot access your data.
Don't bother. Instead of making you pay for the app, they let you download it for free, answer their little questions so they can sell the data, and then hit you with a paywall.

This is a classy way to ensure you perform certain actions a designated number of times in a 28 day period. I use it for all health related actions since, at 73, I often forget to look after myself. I use it for walking 10000 steps 4 times a week, brushing my teeth twice a day, getting 8 hours sleep 6 times week, eating fruit every day and not eating after 9pm each night, plus a miriad of other things including losing weight. It is now fun to plan your days out making yourself a better person.
