Climbing Coach - The Personal Trainer requires no special permissions, has no ads and no subscription fees. It does not even require internet - the exercise database comes with the initial download.

The app has an offline database of over 100 climbing exercises, for anything climbing related: volume, strength, power, power endurance, endurance and conditioning. They are categorized by type, difficulty and the equipment required.

In your program, you will be able to see every training day created and its exercises. Tap on an exercise to load the exercises information into a timer and set/rep counter. There is no need to switch to a stopwatch app!
If an exercise turns out to be too easy or difficult, tap and hold on its button to switch it out for any other exercise. Most exercises have different tiers of difficulty, so you can easily swap it out for a higher or lower tier. You can also create your own exercises.
Climbing Coach comes with full offline access to its drills and 15 detailed training tips. The training tips tell you why to train different things, and in what order. There are also tips on preventing injury, such as proper hangboard form and signs of overtraining.

I was barely able to use this app for more than a day before it started crashing on me. I can no longer 'load program' without the app abruptly quitting, which means the app is essentially useless to me now. edit: after being in contact with the developer, the problem has been fixed and everything is running properly again!
Brillaint app, this has really helped me train and with the help from the developer my small anomaly was easily fixed.
Has a lot of potential but has some areas to work on before I move off my trusted pen and paper work outs. It would be nice if you could combine bouldering and routing training so I could do route training on Tuesday and Thursday and boulder other days. Editing existing routines would be helpful. Couldn't figure out how to incorporate my own exercises in to the routines either. Sorry if this seems negative. I don't regret the money spent on it.
Simple to use, and kicks my ass every session. Builds a solid program around everything from your grade, to the equipment you have at your disposal. Definitely recommend.
Good auto-generated workout plans, based on your level
-Fixed a bug where neither NA or EU grades could be displayed, causing a crash. Defaults to NA grades if neither have been selected
-Fixed a bug where creating trying to create a program with special characters in its name could cause a crash, and then also lead to issues when loading your programs list
-Hardened error handling in general
-Switched to App Bundle from APK, which optimizes across devices and reduces download size
