Worde allows you to play multiple variations of Wordle, like a daily mode, unlimited mode and multiplayer.
Wordle is a daily word game. It's fun, simple and, like a crossword, can only be played once a day. Every 24 hours there's a new word of the day, and it's up to you to figure it out what it is.
Wordle gives you six chances to guess a randomly selected five-letter word. If you have the right letter in the right spot, it shows up green. A correct letter in the wrong spot shows up yellow. A letter that isn't in the word in any spot shows up grey.
You can enter a total of six words, meaning you can enter five burner words from which you can learn hints about the letters and their placements. Then you get one chance to put those hints to use. Or you can try for performance and guess the word of the day in three, two or even one go.
Can't get enough? try our unlimited mode gameplay. If you like words games like scrabble, word search, crosswords or even hangman then this game is for you.
If you enjoy competitive games like scrabble or word wars then you will love the Worde multiplayer wordle mode. Challenge players from all around the world to see who can guess the word first.
Credits: This game is similar to the UK TV show Lingo but was recently popularised by developer Josh Wardle with the creation of a web app called Wordle.
Freezes when started. I have to end it and launch it a second time. Have removed it and reinstalled but still freezes
Nice game for your brain!
For months now it takes two attempts to load worde each new day. App hangs on 1st open try, have to completely close, then reload for it to open and play. Wife's Pixel phone does the same thing too. Becoming a pain in the ... issue. How do I fix?
I understand the need to present advertising and will (just about) tolerate it, if it is discrete and easily dismissed (after noting the advertiser as an entity to avoid). This game, however, descends to the absolute pits, throwing full screen ads one is forced to endure and tricky to dismiss even after that. Uninstalled and the publisher added to my blacklist.
Minus one star each for the presence of ads and in-app purchases. Minus another star for how atrocious the ads are, and the fact that I'm pretty sure that the app used to be ad-free, and had them added later; basically a bait-and-switch tactic.
said no ads but it does indeed have ads
installed and my first word was "staid". Get tf outta here
