I liked this app a lot at first and wish I could rate it higher, but it seems like the puzzles in the latter volumes aren't as challenging as the ones in the earlier volumes. The puzzles in those later volumes also no longer have credited authors, so it makes me wonder if they're AI-generated rather than created by humans, which might be why they seem so cookie-cutter and less unique than the earlier puzzles. Really disappointing if that's the case, because the decrease in quality shows
I just wish they would have it so you have to confirm you want a hint. Too easy to tap it accidentally for it not to ask you to confirm... Also wish more of it was free.
I love this app! I've been solving Dell logic problems for years, the old fashion way, by buying their puzzle books. I like that you can easily clear the grid if you make a mistake and need to restart. There is a solution, you don't have to guess, but you do need to run through the clues more than once in order to cross reference information revealed as the clues progress. I still use paper and pencil to create charts to help me see what isn't obvious on the grid.
I have to go to therapy for memory building and attention span issues. These are the puzzles I do for both of those issues. I love this game.
DON'T BELIEVE THE APP STORE SCORE! Penny Dell is up front on their app page that 10 puzzles are free, and you pay to unlock more. If you can afford to unlock more puzzles by psying, DO IT. It's the same as buying one of their puzzle books in store. I'd pay for more puzzles if I could afford it. Functionality is great, and wasn't bothered by a single ad on the free version.
I really enjoyed the free games, but nothing happens when I click on the games to purchase, just . . . no response. Later: Thank you for your response. After rebooting I am able to purchase.
