What's going on? The game starts up with the music blasting with no way to turn it down. Okay, I play the forced tutorial to get to the settings menu. Boring and forced with bad music. Finally the settings menu appears! Finally ... except it doesn't work. You can only click the play button. All other buttons don't work. Huh? So the music continues blasting. Who made this? I play small puzzle games to listen to other stuff as I play them. Don't force me to do boring and irritating stuff this way.
I usually excel at pattern games, but this game is very frustrating. The timer makes it too stressful. Uninstalling.
Good game but I got bored fairly quickly
Incredibly stressful, in all the bad ways. I like difficult games, but that's not what makes this stressful. Tutorial starts off on the wrong foot by not telling you what the "unic" is, and it's just downhill from there. Then, just when you think you're starting to get a handle on the game, they make it more stressful by rushing you even more. There may be a gem of a game here, but if there is, it's hidden behind a chaotic flashing presentation and increasingly stressful pressure to go faster.
Down to 3 stars cause I can't find a way to turn hints OFF. I find the hints to be more distracting than helpful. If that's by design then idk I just don't like it.
It could have been a good game, but you can't turn off the visual "hint" of where the unic lies. This makes a systematic visual scan of the board almost impossible because the pulsing draws the eye out of its search path. One star each because it's beautiful and because Zen Mode exists.
Kind of fun. I didn't have any trouble figuring it out really but I do wish there was an untimed mode that was presented as an option. I think it would be more fun honestly. Once the game speeds up it is not as fun to me. Still do like it though.
