Build quaint island towns with curvy streets. Build small hamlets, soaring cathedrals, canal networks, or sky cities on stilts. Block by block.
No goal. No real gameplay. Just plenty of building and plenty of beauty. That's it.
Townscaper is an experimental passion project. More of a toy than a game. Pick colors from the palette, plop down colored blocks of house on the irregular grid, and watch Townscaper's underlying algorithm automatically turn those blocks into cute little houses, arches, stairways, bridges and lush backyards, depending on their configuration.
I am very disappointed. This game seems nice, the artwork is good and the sounds relaxing. But after 30 minutes, it gets very boring. Bugs are still persistent, the controls a bit laggy and nothing is added to the game. I want to like this game, but I don't. I don't recommend buying it, I think is it too expensive for what it is.
Really fun! It's always really sad when the city maxes out and you can't finish that feature you're working on. Would be great if the game could be extended a little. Building on the largest footprint gives a tight height limit.
I cannot believe they charge for this game...what a waste of money...the most boring game. Sorry not sorry
Just paid for the game, very expensive at $7.49. After paying and installing I get this notification when I try to play it... "Access blocked: Townscaper has not completed the Google verification process"
There was huge hype about this game and then it just died, no updates or development makes it a stale game to play now
Great game I love how cozy you can make the structures it would be amazing if we had tiny people going around going in and out buildings and talkin cartoony gibberish and doing doing stuff around but I guest that would be a nightmare to code not to mention the bugs and the performance issues it would make but it would be nice to have it as something togglable. It would be so therapeutic to watch them after you finish your building
Very relaxing, no pressure, no objectives, just expression of creativity. You don't have to be an architectual genius, just make what you wanna make.
Update to make sure Townscaper will stay working on new devices
