Talisman, the magical quest game from Games Workshop, is a classic board game that has been enjoyed by fantasy fans for nearly 30 years. Can I play with my friends by passing the device around?
Yes! Get your family and friends together and race each other to the Crown!
Do I need to buy expansions to join an online game with expansions?
No! You do not need to buy expansion packs in order to join a game that is using them, but you cannot choose the characters from it until you purchase it.
Does the game have asynchronous play?
No. Talisman doesn't really suit asynchronous play due to players having to react to spell casting.

Great game very entertaining
RNG sucks on this game, always makes you lose because the ai opponents get the best item drops amazing spells and easiest monsters to fight. F this game.
Please don't buy this game. The full game is more than AAA and the game is hot garbage made by nihilistic nerds. If you play this you will lose because it not only cheats but IS designed to drive you nuts. Dont those greasy thieves win. Let this game and their company die finally.
I'm glad I didn't give up playing and kept trying to improve. This game is great, but the tutorial is very lacking! Also, a weighed dice option would be appreciated for AI games (with disabled achievements/conquest), to make newbies used to hard rules and stuff likely to occur. I can now calmly accept passing 4 turns in a row and dying as a ghost with a high level character at turn 30+, or losing because someone teleported to the crown, but at the start even rerolling 1 into 1 was hard to take.
