Had to try 2 times but worked great on the second attempt
I cannot configure the Smart Streamer Remote. It worked on my husband's Samsung Galaxy S22. I use a Google Pixel 6 running Android 14. I will try with my Samsung Galaxy Flip 4. Maybe that will work for me. Update: It works on my Galaxy Flip 4!
App does not work. Finds the remote 6 but then says lets update your remote. Ok then says sorry something went wrong and thats it. Cant do anything. Maybe tech support will help me. Update. Thanks to tech support for fixing my issue in 1 day. Excellent!!
Hi, I really loved my Smart Streamer remote when it was working! I had no issue with setup until I bought another one for my other TV. Tried to connect it with "add remote" button and now it is stuck saying "try again later" everytime I connect my new remote. Had to restart, uninstall and reinstall. No luck. Not to mention my other remote is gone without a trace from the app. UPDATE: Support answered promptly and resolved the issue in 1 day! Love my remotes! Thank you!
I cannot get this remote to get passed the update firmware step. Every single time it tells me to try again later. There's no other way to setup the remote. I've restarted my phone, uninstalled/reinstalled the app, deleted the cache/storage, turned off vpn, etc and NOTHING works. There's also no chat support to help. Wish I knew this before I bought this at Best Buy.
Buggy as hell. Does not work.
Looks to me like they sold the remote to people, overpricing it, knowing that the app pairing software does not work. Using the people that over paid for it as test subjects to trial and error tweak their connection app. If the app doesn't work, it should be against the law to sell it under false pretenses. Your app doesn't work correctly. You know that. You knew that when you sold it and cost the public allot of money. Again, selling a remote that requires an app they know doesn't work. Bs
