I Was still (as at 2024) using SF4Pro which is very good, and always resisted upgrading to new versions due to cost, however when the SF7Plus popped up for £2.79 I had to try it, and in all honesty it isn't much different, I don't own a goto scope so my strategy of not upgrading was the right one for me.

I haven't had it out actually under the stars yet but just by fiddling around with it for the last few days I can certainly say I like it much better than Stellarium. It's much more configurable.

Bugs, bugs, bugs. There are a lot of screen formatting errors and a host of other errors. Very frustrating. If you add equipment to Binoculars the first one is fine. When you add another, each one is "copied" to the other's and they are all identical. This is clearly a reference error of some kind. You also cannot delete them either--when you the select trash can nothing happens. This is an expensive app--more expensive than most others. I really wanted to like it but I just can't.
Doesn't work as good as previous release or it would be 4 stars. Gyro is itchy. Can't zoom very well
amazing app when it's working. I've had this for about a year now, and it has everything I could ever wish for in a stargazing app, including a very accurate compass for a point-and-see experience. lately, the app has been crashing frequently for bo apparent reason, and I have tried reinstalling it several times
