Deflection is the perfect tool for analyzing internal beam stresses under load. It allows you to edit the dimensions of the beam's cross section, and it plots the internal shear and bending stresses along the beam's axes.
INTERNAL STRESSES
Obtain internal bending and shear stress diagrams in addition to shear, bending, and deflection diagrams. The internal stresses can be visualized along the length of the beam as well as along the vertical axis of the cross section.
CROSS SECTION EDITOR
Edit built-in cross sections. Moment of inertia and area values are automatically calculated and applied to the rest of the beam calculations.
MORE FEATURES
• The built-in database contains more data for your reference and convenience.
• Apply beam self-weight optionally
• Unlimited design files
• Quick-start templates

If you aren't a mechanical engineer, you may have to do some googling to be sure you are getting the right values and parameters, but after a short learning curve I made some calculations for a few beams. The tools works well and I like the "slider" to see values change in real time. This makes choosing the right type of beam easier. I am not sure of the differences with the pro and free versions, but I don't mind paying for helpful software and this works well.
Magnificent
We need influence line
Program cannot connect with server. Could you please help on this
Everything is best. Update needed for, We cannot save templates; We should export as PDF. Manual section dimension input needed. For concrete structures.
Best app ever...👍
I like it, but US beam sizes for square tubing and angle don't go down to 1"x1"x1/8", which is of most interest to me.
Shear, moment, and axial force diagrams can now be displayed for 2D frames and trusses. Use the buttons at the bottom of the screen to display or hide the diagrams.
