United StatesWiFi only. Use your phone or tablet to monitor WSJT-X running on your computer. Join your family while still keeping up with what your station is receiving. Works for all modes (FT8, FT4, WSPR, MSK144, etc). Extensive help menus, including how to configure WSJT-X or JTDX. It displays nicely on tablets as well as phones.
Note that you cannot initiate a transmit with this or any other app. WSJT-X developers do not allow the "Enable Tx" button to be pressed remotely.
ALERTS - The app will monitor your station and alert you when a desired region or callsign is heard. For example, it can let you know when a rare DX station appears, when 6 meters opens up, or when your own callsign is heard.
FILTERS - You can control the locations and callsigns that you want to see. Alternatively, you can control the locations and callsigns that you don't want to see.
SELECT STATION – A window will show all the stations in the last group. You can select the station to reply to. The effect is the same as double clicking the station in the WSJT-X Band Activity panel.
SORTING - The app includes an option to sort each burst based on signal strength, distance, frequency, or direction (azimuth).
**Important** - You must configure WSJT-X or JTDX correctly before this app will display anything. It's easy and the help menus graphically illustrate how to do this. If you need additional help then you can send us an Email (a convenient Email link is inside the app). We are happy to assist.
Also available is "Display All Messages" window where you can also see the background messages (such as heartbeat and status change) that WSJT-X sends out but are not normally displayed.
Set up is easy if you follow the prompts. I use WSJT-X and JTAlert. The app doesn't allow a multicast IP address to be used which means it will not communicate directly if other programs eg JTAlert are in use. Use JT Alert menu - go to applications WSJT X/ JTDX and tick the box to resend UDP packets. The IP address MUST be your phones IP and then select a unique port number . Restart JTalert. Go into app tap the 3 dots select same upd port and all will work together . Brilliant addition thanks
Not working, Running wsjtx v2.6.1 . This version has outgoing interface option set to wireless . Setup as instructed. Just waiting.... message . Phone and tablet same routing through same router.

Really need to drop the need to be on wifi. I have a VPN to my station location and don't use wifi for it. Makes this great app utterly useless in my situation. Any way to drop the need for wifi tk be connected?
Love it. Always use it when on 6m. I like to see the mileage to determine type of skip. On other bands, the country information is very helpful!
Unusable due to lack of multicast addressing.
Could not get app to work changed all sorts of settings...disappointing. does thepaid for one work?
