This is an extremely good text app. I have used Chomp now for about 8 to 10 years. I'm not sure exactly when I started using it, but this is the sixth phone I have downloaded it to. I have found that it works exactly as they stated. When I get a new phone the first thing I do is disabled the native text app and download chomp. Try it, you'll see what I mean. I'VE BEEN USING CHOMP SMS FOR ANOTHER 6 YEARS NOW. STILL LOVING IT! *** FIVE STAR ALL THE WAY!! ***
Fantastic SMS app review updated to 5 stars. (Timestamps now added as requested on earlier 3 star review) Need to add option for viewing timestamps by sent time instead of received time. Time delay function is brilliant as is the message scheduling service
I would love caller identity. I get too many scammers and scare me if I open them. But I still like chomp for friends and family. Plus I can't get all the smily faces, hearts etc. Hiand so much more lost. And few gifs.

Chomp is a very good app,trust me,you want be disappointed.
Compared to other top sms apps, this is my favorite. However. there are no visual notifications by the icon , only sound, so new messages are too easy to miss! Help desk claimed there was an update, but there isnt! Otherwisr, easy to use, highly customizable (including delayed sending options), displays more conversations than some other apps, text is easy to read, able to easily block unwanted senders, backs up automatically using Google backup service.
My favorite text app. I've been using it for years. Recommended to all of my friends and family. Recommend for you all to try as well.
