Not sure how this app keeps its Cdn certification; it fails to apply many Canadian rules properly and App Support's suggestion is simply to falsify my log to make it 'look good'. Absolutely ludicrous, not to mention HIGHLY ILLEGAL!!! The shift clocks lie because they accept non-compliant break time as compliant until you're over your 14 hrs. Applies the 30 minute break rule incorrectly. Applies a midnight threshold incorrectly. Doesn't handle 8 hr breaks nor off duty deferrals correctly,..
They sent out an email saying that an Android with an operating system of 9.0 or better would work. I recently started having trouble connecting do to the last update so I called the support help line. He said yesterday that I need a phone with an OS of 14. My phone would only go to 13 and it was only 4 years old. I bought a new phone today and it still has the same problem. I just spent over $700 and I still can't drive for my job.
It's piss poor at best it can't figure out one person can drive more than one truck so if you driver to different trucks you'll always have a conflicting report on your log
Trash a lot of times
My biggest problem with the app is there is nowhere for me to make a comment on any of the events. They're counting speeding against my safety score, but their using outdated gps tags, like seriously!!! If they weren't so bad, my safety score would be at least a 98, instead of 94! Then there's the event counted against me, when some a hole cut me off, slammed on the breaks, and I had to change lanes to keep from running him over! No that's not an unsafe lane change on my part, it's on theirs!
System uses Google maps to track your speed. Often times Google is not accurate with speed limits and you get dinged for speeding, with no way to dispute it.
This has got to be the buggiest app I have ever used. The amount of crashing, disconnecting between tablet and truck unit, app not responding to commands is unbelievable. I'm guessing not much care and thought has gone into this app. I wish I could switch to something else, anything else, but my company has equipped all the trucks with this, so called, professional log book. To use this, you have to become a software expert in reconnecting issues. Not good at all...
