Matthew Henry was a Christian theologian born at Broad Oak in Wales, United Kingdom. His father was a Church of England Cleric and gave his son a good education. He studied theology in London and became minister of Presbyterian Church at Chester.
He was the author of many publications, but the work for which Henry is famous is The Exposition of the Old and New Testaments.
This remarkable work provides a verse-by-verse study of the Bible, covering the complete Old Testament and the New Testament until Acts. After his death, the work was completed by a commission of ministers based in the notes taken by Henry.
Famous evangelical Protestant preachers as Robert Hall, George Whitefield and Spurgeon used the work and strongly recommended it.
If you are a pastor or professor this Bible app will became your best tool to prepare sermons more efficiently.

Everything was going just fine until I turned on the voice for it to read to me. And it was absolutely horrible. It's a computer you can tell. It's not a person. Unfortunately, you couldn't get a person to right? But that computer is absolutely irritating and it doesn't do one. In a male voice. All it does. Is lower the female voice? It sounds horrible. You guys really need to get rid of that. That's irritating. But other than that, everything's copacetic.
Blessed and helpful.
A very intuitive Bible. Great commentaries.
the writer tried so much when you compare it with some other commentaries. but it will be ok to update and add the years by which each book of the Bible was written, the date of the writer, his name and meaning, where he came from, the purpose of his writing. etc
This is a beautiful gift that is handy on the go. It doesn't matter where you are or what you're doing it's reliable and always available.
