Terrible app
App is messed up a lot of the time. When you try and watch a forecast video, well good luck. It hardly ever works. So if you need a weather forecast, we’ll you might want to look somewhere else.
Easy and Informative
This app quickly gives you the weather in an easy-to-read format which is pleasing to the eye. Swiping between screens, you can rapidly view detailed weather information, with no TV personalities injecting themselves into the process. All you get is weather -quickly, completely and accurately. For a refreshing change in Miami Valley weather reporting, get this WDTN Weather app!
Too many ads
Not sure why there has to be ads. Please remove the ads then the rating will go up
Audio ads need to go.
As other reviewers have said, the pop up ads are annoying. But worse than that are the audio ads that pop up while you are just trying to quietly check the weather leaving the user to try to find the mute button before everyone in the vicinity gives a disapproving look. May have to switch back to Weatherbug app.
Channel
I guess l can’t download the weather from channel 2. Can’t figure out how to do it. Some instructions would be nice.
Promises, but doesn’t deliver
The only feature that works is notifications, but “works” is perhaps an exaggeration: a notification appears, but without details and when I tap on it the app opens to a blank screen that … wait for it, wait for it, …never appears. Would be great to have an alternative to the local Cox/WHIO monopoly on news and weather, but this app isn’t it — yet.
Seriously?
Newsflash WDTN many people today only have their cell phone & during storms many people lose power therefore they cannot charge said cell phones. It has been raining for less than an hour and I have received 12 yes that’s right a DOZEN alerts from WDTN WEATHER during that hour - that’s ridiculous. It was also ridiculous a few weeks ago during a thunderstorm when my cell phone was near death and the WDTN pop-ups just would not stop. Maybe you all are trying to make sure that your weather app is even worse than your news app?!? Both could definitely use some work!
